Yes. Each individual LED can be set to a different color.

The Oelo lighting app for our color-changing lights allows you to achieve more than 6 million hues. You can customize your own preset programs within the app and create patterns with our 10 different movement settings.

LED lights do not “burn” out like traditional incandescent lights. After approximately 100,000 hours of use, the colors may start to degrade.

Our lights should last a minimum of 100,000 hours of run time — the equivalent of 22 years of nightly 12-hour glow!

Our lights can run 24 hours a day, so keep them shining as long as you wish!

Actually, the Oelo app features a built-in timer that lets you set the time, day and duration that your lights run.

Yes. LED lighting uses approximately 80% less energy than traditional lighting.

No. Each light runs on an independent light engine and can be replaced individually should there be a malfunction.

If a light malfunctions, simply replace the old light with a new one.

No. If the lights are properly installed, they should be fully and independently functional for many years.

Oelo offers nine different channel lighting colors: light grey, dark grey, white, tan, light brown, dark brown, green, blue and black.

Yes. You can safely and easily paint the channel on our lighting system to perfectly match your structure. We recommend you mask over the channel lens with tape before painting.

The Control Unit provides power for up to 300 lights and regulates Oelo’s lighting functions (up to 6,000 lights).

Use the Oelo smartphone app to easily and quickly change our multi-color lights to the color or colors of your choice.

Yes. Each one of the lights in your lighting system is customizable through our smartphone app.

Our lights are all low voltage and run on 36v power supplies, which plug into standard 120v plugs.

Currently, our smartphone app works on Apple handheld devices and Android devices only. The app is available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under “Oelo Lighting Solutions App." The app requires iOS 5.0 or later for iPhone devices.

Yes. Our lighting system is modular, so parts can be added or subtracted at any time.

Bugs are not as likely to be attracted to our lights due to the lack of ultraviolet rays and the smaller amount of heat generated in comparison to other forms of lighting.

Yes. We have 10 custom movement programs. Each one can be customized to any custom color combination and speed.

Our controller has two methods of communicating to the Oelo app on your iPhone or Android device. Our controller produces its very own WiFi network that you can connect your smart device to, which is the default mode for Oelo. The second, and preferred method, would be to connect the Oelo controller to your secure, personal WiFi network. As long as your device is connected to the same network as the Oelo controller, you will be able to control your lighting system.

Yes. We are constantly updating and upgrading the Oelo app, as well as the Oelo controller. If your controller is connected to your personal WiFi we can update it to the newest and most advanced software available.

Our lights are IP68-rated, meaning they can be full submersed in water. We’ve even frozen them in ice to prove their durability.
